This isn't theoretical. We built and have maintained, for several years, the full operating platform for a national association serving continuing education programs across North America — replacing five disconnected systems (website, membership management, a separate learning platform, ecommerce, and job postings) with one consolidated platform, live within about two months of the start of the engagement.
Since launch, the system has grown well past its original scope: self-service member registration and renewal, role-based regional access for chapter and regional leadership overseeing dozens of member institutions at a time, automated and compliant email marketing, electronic invoicing and online payment, and even a data-driven conference badge-printing pipeline that keeps printed materials in sync with last-minute registration changes. What started as a membership and commerce platform has become the operational backbone the organization runs its entire annual conference and member communications through.
